Northern Bay P-12 College has a strong program to support students transitioning in key points: • Kinder to School • Prep to Year 1 • Year 2 to Year 3. This ensures a smooth and successful transition throughout schooling.
The Developmental Curriculum approach focuses on the use of developmentally and culturally appropriate teaching and learning. This approach promotes student voice and ownership over their own learning. There are planned, strong connections to Literacy and Numeracy.
Our P-2 curriculum builds strong foundational skills for students as they embark on the first years of formal education. We place a strong emphasis on reading, writing and maths as well as personal & social learning. Northern Bay College also has a focus on The Arts and Health & PE.
