We aim to prepare students for senior school, future careers, and their role in the broader world. We focus on three core concepts: cultivating a culture that celebrates learning and growth, developing student agency to empower informed, beneficial decisions, and fostering deep learning opportunities.
Our approach centres on the "6Cs" - enhancing creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, citizenship, communication, and character skills for their personal and academic development.
To help students explore their senior pathway options, they participate in two immersion days to trial both VM and VCE.
Students experience Literacy, Numeracy, Enterprise, and Work-Related Skills. TAFE providers also present VET options, a compulsory component of VM, allowing students to gain official qualifications in their chosen field.
Students attend six potential VCE classes of their choice, such as Psychology, Biology, Legal
Studies, Maths, and Arts. Each session provides an overview of the Year 11 curriculum and a short activity to introduce the subject.
These immersion days, held close to Program Selection Day, support students in making informed decisions about their senior years.
Accessing information for your desired pathway can be difficult.
