Jahnaye and Mohammad are passionate about Northern Bay College, and will work to ensure that all students have a say on issues that mean the most to them.

I am so grateful to have the opportunity to represent such an incredible school, The diversity and connection within our community is something we pride ourselves on. Northern Bay pushes you to not only chase your dreams but go beyond them, to find “comfort in the uncomfortable!” Each experience offered here is surrounded with immense amounts of support and encouragement. I moved to Northern Bay in year 4, terrified that I wouldn’t fit in but it was the complete opposite.. Being at Northern Bay allowed me to make some lifelong friends and special memories. My favourite being Year 9/10 camp in 2024, forming connections with teachers and people you wouldn’t have normally spoken to, and maybe causing some mischief here and there.
As our school’s Captain of 2026, I hope to represent the strong culture of togetherness and build our college to be bigger and better!

Hello, my name is Mohammad Husseini, a 17 year old full of ambition and drive to get the best out of anything I pursue. Something about me is that I’m highly passionate about sports, particularly focusing on Football (soccer) and it’s my goal to make it professional.
The one thing I’m trying to achieve this year as college captain is to promote student voice and inclusivity, creating a safe environment for all students regardless of their background.
