NBC Family Centre is a welcoming, child-focused indoor and outdoor play space designed to inspire imagination, curiosity and learning through play, friendship and fun.
The Centre is a collaboration between Northern Bay College and key community partners including Meli, Bethany, the City of Greater Geelong and Community Hubs Australia.
Campus Location
Our purpose-built early years facility provides a safe, inclusive and well-resourced environment where families feel supported, empowered and connected. All programs are facilitated, free and accessible to the community.
We focus on building strong foundations during the first 1000 days (conception to 2 years) and the next 1000 days (birth to school age), supporting parents and caregivers to give their children the best possible start in life.
Playgroup Community
Our playgroups provide a relaxed and engaging space for parents and caregivers to connect with their children and others in the community. Families can play, read, sing and share experiences while building confidence and skills in a supportive environment.
New programs include:
- English Conversation classes
- HIPPY (Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters)
- Toy Library
All families are welcome. Please bring a healthy snack for you and your child.
Family Support Services
A dedicated team of family services professionals and community partners are available onsite each day to support families through the challenges of early parenting and community life.
Programs and supports include:

- Bumps to Bubs
- Bubs to Tots
- Bethany – Connect Up
- HIPPY Program
