Sports at NBC

Sport plays a vital role in the culture of Northern Bay College, providing students with opportunities to develop teamwork, resilience and a strong sense of belonging. Our comprehensive sports programs caters to students of all years and abilities, encouraging participation, personal growth and the pursuit of excellence.

From early engagement in physical activity through to competitive pathways, students are supported by dedicated staff and qualified coaches who foster skill development, confidence and a positive mindset.

Track Club

Rain, hail or shine, a dedicated group of students takes to the track each week, committed to improving their fitness, refining their technique, and building strong connections with one another. Guided by qualified coaches, they receive expert support, encouragement, and the motivation to push their limits.

The ultimate goal is to earn an invitation to compete at professional race days across Victoria—an exciting opportunity that recognises their hard work and dedication.

Track Club runs on Tuesday mornings from 8:00am to 8:45am throughout the summer months.

Fit Club

An inclusive and motivating environment where students can build their fitness, confidence and overall wellbeing. Open to all ability levels, Fit Club focuses on creating positive habits through a mix of strength, cardio and functional training activities, all guided by supportive staff. Whether students are just beginning their fitness journey or looking to improve performance for sport, the program encourages personal growth at an individual pace.

This program runs Tuesday mornings from 8am until 8:45am throughout the winter months.
