At Staughton Vale Outdoor Education Centre, we acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land, the Wadawurrung People, and pay respect to their Elders past, present and emerging. Staughton Vale Outdoor Education Centre is an accredited and sustainable camp located about 9km north of Anakie. It is situated on the eastern corner of the Brisbane Ranges.
- The self-catered camp sleeps 36 within the two freestanding bunkhouses, connected to the bathrooms by covered walkways.
- The industrial style kitchen is contained within the meeting/function room space. The camp is ideal for the self-caterers, functions and special occasions. An undercover BBQ area is great for outdoor entertaining.
- Residential experiences can be overnight, weekend or extended stays.
- Day use is ideal for an undisturbed business planning retreat, school professional learning or team development for adults and / or children.
- The camp is wheelchair friendly.
- A short drive to the Staughton Vale Cliff Face for abseiling and bush walking.
This is part of the traditional land of the Wadawurrung People.

Accommodation
The camp sleeps 36 people in single or bunk beds and guests are also welcome to pitch tents. No Camper Vans are permitted.
The camp consists of two lodges which contain:
- four rooms with two bunks (4 single beds)
- a master bed room (2 single beds) with ensuite
- The shower block with extra toilets is in a separate wheelchair friendly building between the two lodges.





Recreation Hall
The large Recreation Hall is furnished with couches and chairs in a carpeted area. The dining area has tables and seating for 40 which doubles as working tables.
The commercial kitchen has a fridge / freezer, microwave, dishwasher, 6 burner stove and oven. The 2-way servery allows access to both dining hall and outdoor BBQ setting. All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are on site.







Grounds
The camp grounds host a basketball court, gaga pit, fire circle and many more outdoor common areas.
National Park rules apply at Staughton Vale Outdoor Education Centre.
Native birds call the area home and Kangaroos go about their daily routine near the camp – especially around breakfast time.
You may also be lucky enough to spot the Koalas who live in nearby eucalpyt gum trees.
