The Blue Connect program brings local North Geelong and Special Services Police into the College for a structured morning of fitness, breakfast and meaningful conversation. The program is designed to strengthen positive relationships between students and police, creating regular opportunities for connection in a relaxed and supportive environment. By engaging in this way, students build trust, break down preconceived barriers and develop a deeper understanding of the role police play within the community.
Central to the program’s success are its strong community partnerships, including the ongoing support of Corio Village and collaboration with local police services. These partnerships enhance the program’s impact by connecting students with positive role models and reinforcing a shared commitment to student wellbeing and community safety.
Through Blue Connect, students not only improve their physical and social wellbeing, but also gain a stronger sense of belonging and confidence in engaging with the wider community.
