The annual program is a unique performing arts opportunity for Victoria’s government primary and secondary school students.
The program showcases the talents of government school communities and supports students to reach the highest levels of achievement in the arts, while building pride in our schools.
The Spectacular has become an invaluable rite of passage for Victoria’s top young talent, and a cherished, memorable education experience for all participants.
Each year a group of students from Northern Bay Colle participate in the Victorian State School Spectacular.
We have around 25 students from year 4 – 12 in choir and 17 students from year 6 – 12 in dance.
Our participation has become a major part of our Performing Arts unit and has developed student’s confidence and passion over the years.
The State School Spectacular is as much about collaboration and meeting new friends as it is about putting on a simply stunning show.
Our school values of persistence, collaboration, kindness and growth were on full display as our students showed wonderful inclusiveness to the wider groups and performed with high energy and capacity.
