Our student leadership programs provide meaningful opportunities for students to contribute to decision-making, represent their peers and actively shape College life. From campus-based leadership roles in the primary and middle years to formal leadership positions at the Senior Campus, students are encouraged to lead through service, initiative and collaboration.
Student leaders play an important role in organising events, supporting community initiatives and promoting the College values. Through these opportunities, students build confidence, communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility while learning how to positively influence their school and wider community. At Northern Bay College, leadership is viewed not simply as a title, but as an opportunity for every student to develop their voice and make a meaningful contribution.

House leaders for sport play a vital role in building a strong sense of community, teamwork, and school spirit. They provide students with the opportunity to develop leadership skills by organising teams, motivating their peers, and promoting fair play and inclusion. Through their involvement, house leaders help ensure that sporting events run smoothly while encouraging participation from students of all abilities, not just those who are highly competitive. They act as positive role models, fostering resilience, collaboration, and pride within their houses, and contribute to creating a supportive and engaging sporting culture across the school

Student Representatives are a vital channel of communication between the college and students – representing, communicating and giving feedback on college and student matters. They are not the Boss of the class – but act as a representative leader.
Our SRC is represented by a broad group of student leaders across the senior school with each junior campus allocating 2 students per campus.
