First Nations at Northern Bay College
At Northern Bay P–12 College, we are committed to honouring, celebrating and embedding First Nations perspectives across all aspects of school life. We recognise the rich histories, cultures and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and value the important role education plays in strengthening understanding, respect and reconciliation within our community.

Through culturally inclusive practices, meaningful partnerships with local community organisations and opportunities for student voice, Northern Bay College strives to create a safe and welcoming environment where First Nations students feel connected, supported and proud of their identity.

Initiatives such as yarning circles provide important spaces for storytelling, connection, reflection and relationship building, helping students develop a strong sense of belonging and cultural pride.

Our work alongside local Elders, community groups and organisations strengthens the connections between school, family and community, ensuring First Nations knowledge and perspectives are embedded authentically in learning experiences and college events.

Northern Bay College is proud to continue building a culture of respect, understanding and opportunity for all students, while recognising the ongoing importance of First Nations cultures within Australia and our local community.
