This year our Art Design and Technology showcase is called ‘Connection to the Bay.’ This theme is all about our personal connection to the Bay, Northern Bay College, Corio Bay and beyond.
In the spirit of a connection to country, the Bay is something important to all of us in Geelong.
To pay our respects to the traditional custodians the Wadawurrung people we have created a collaborative installation. Warri Dja Yinya-Yinya, Sea Country canoes, inspired by stories of traditional bark canoes used for night fishing on Corio Bay.
The event will recognise the outstanding Arts, Design and Technology productions made throughout the year and highlight selected students with our annual ‘Little Archie’ awards. We hope to see all staff and students attend the NBC Gallery at the opening vent on Thursday 12th November.
