Northern Bay P–12 College invites all families with students currently in Years 5–10 to attend our 2027 Pathways Information Evening on Tuesday 14 July from 3:30pm until 5:30pm.
This important event is designed to help students and families make informed decisions about future learning pathways and subject selections.
Throughout the evening, families will have the opportunity to attend a range of 20-minute workshops and presentations covering Year 9 and 10 elective options, VCE, VCE Vocational Major (VM), VPC, VET, School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBAT), and senior school planning.
Teaching staff, pathway leaders and subject experts will also be available to answer questions and provide personalised advice to help students choose subjects that align with their strengths, interests and future aspirations.
Families of students entering Year 9 in 2027 can learn more about subject selection, core and elective offerings, and key Year 9 programs, while those with students moving into Year 10 will gain valuable information about planning for senior school, advanced VCE opportunities, ATAR, and vocational pathways. Visitors will also have the opportunity to tour the Geelong Industry Trade Training Centre and explore the industry-standard facilities available to our students.
We encourage all families to attend and take advantage of this valuable opportunity to work alongside our staff in planning a successful and purposeful pathway for their child’s future.
If you are unable to attend, please arrange a meeting with your child’s mentor teacher to ensure these important course planning conversations still take place.
