Yesterday, our Year 7/8 SEED Ascend Squad had the incredible opportunity to visit AAMI Park and gain a firsthand insight into elite sporting environments.
As part of Northern Bay College’s SEED (Sport, Empowerment, Education and Development) program, students explored the pathways, leadership, commitment and character required to succeed at the highest levels of sport.
They were privileged to watch training sessions conducted by the Melbourne Storm and AFLW Melbourne Demons and learn how professional athletes and coaching staff prepare for competition.
The experience reinforced the values at the heart of SEED, including growth, persistence, collaboration and leadership, while providing students with valuable exposure to future pathways within the sporting industry.
