Northern Bay College has celebrated a remarkable milestone following the overwhelming success of its inaugural whole-school production of The Wizard of Oz.
Drawing strong support from families, friends and the wider community, the production achieved an impressive 85% ticket sale rate, with audiences filling the theatre across two memorable performances. The enthusiastic response reflected not only the excitement surrounding the event but also the pride the community has in its young performers.
Months of dedication, rehearsals and preparation culminated in a production that showcased the extraordinary talent, resilience and teamwork of Northern Bay College students.
From the opening scene to the final curtain call, the cast captivated audiences with their confidence, energy and heart. Behind the scenes, the crew worked tirelessly to ensure every costume change, lighting cue, set movement and technical element came together seamlessly, proving that every role was vital in bringing the magic of Oz to life.
As the College’s first-ever production, the journey was filled with learning opportunities. Students embraced every challenge with determination, adapting to last-minute changes with professionalism and supporting one another throughout the process.
