Representatives from Northern Bay College attended the Freemasons Foundation Victoria Scholarship Ceremony in Melbourne to celebrate the outstanding achievements of several students who were awarded prestigious named scholarships.
Rezai and Hameed Rehman attended the ceremony in person, while Mohammad Husseini and Mohammad Ali Noor Ali were unfortunately unable to attend.
The students received the following scholarships in recognition of their exceptional applications, commitment to learning, and contributions to their community:
- Mohammad Husseini — The Lodge of Tradition Award — $1,700
- Rezai Rehman — Coppin Weston Street Award — $1,700
- Hameed Rehman — CJ Barrow Scholarship — $1,600
- Mohammad Ali Noor Ali — King Edward VII Memorial Scholarship — $1,700
The scholarships are awarded through Freemasons Foundation Victoria, an organisation that supports educational opportunities, community wellbeing, and charitable initiatives across Victoria. Since 1912, Victorian Masonic scholarships have helped students pursue their educational goals, with millions of dollars awarded to young people throughout the state.
Freemasons Foundation Victoria’s mission is to contribute to a stronger and healthier Victoria through thoughtful charitable support and community involvement, with education remaining a key focus area of the foundation’s work.
Northern Bay College is incredibly proud of these students and the dedication, resilience, and determination they have demonstrated. Receiving these scholarships is a significant achievement and a reflection of the bright futures ahead for each of them.
