Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome Deputy Premier and Minister for Education, Ben Carroll and local MP Ella George to the Hendy Campus for the ceremonial turning of the first sod, marking the official beginning of the Hendy rebuild.
During their visit, Deputy Premier Carroll and MP Ella George were given a tour of the campus by student leaders William, Mary and Sana, who proudly showcased the Hendy community and shared their vision for the future of the campus. Guests also had the opportunity to meet with builders MelCon and architects Moreton and Co to discuss the exciting plans ahead.
This milestone marks the beginning of a very exciting chapter for the Hendy Campus and the wider Hendy community, and we look forward to sharing updates as the rebuild progresses.
