Project update – October 2026
Dear college community,
Construction is well under way on our new Learning Centre (Block A) at Hendy P-8 Campus to replace the building destroyed by fire in October 2024.
Our builder, Melbcon, has completed the drainage and foundation works and has poured the main concrete slab. The next stage of construction involves installing the structural steel frame, followed by the roof structure.
The new Learning Centre will feature administration areas, classrooms, a library and landscaped outdoor spaces, creating a contemporary and welcoming environment for students, staff and the broader school community.
Construction is forecast for completion by next September.
Where possible, Melbcon will minimise disruption to normal school operations. We are working closely with them to carefully manage disruptions when they are unavoidable.Thanks for your support and patience.
