There are plenty of milestones in a child’s first year of school, and one of the most exciting is reaching 100 days of Prep!
On Monday 3 August, Northern Bay College’s Prep students across our junior campuses will celebrate this special achievement with a fun-filled day centred around this year’s theme, “100 Days Brighter!”
Over the past 100 school days, our youngest learners have grown in confidence, independence and curiosity. From learning their letters and numbers to making new friends, exploring their creativity and building important life skills, our Prep students have achieved so much in a relatively short time. The 100 Days of Prep celebration is a wonderful opportunity to recognise just how far they have come since their very first day at school.
To mark the occasion, students are encouraged to come dressed in bright, colourful clothing or get creative and design their own vibrant outfit. The day will be filled with colour, smiles and plenty of excitement as students celebrate this important milestone together.
Throughout the day, classes will take part in engaging activities that reflect on the number 100 while celebrating learning, friendship and the joy of being part of the Northern Bay College community. It’s a chance for students to look back on everything they have accomplished while looking ahead to the many exciting learning opportunities still to come.
Starting school is a significant milestone for every child and family, and the first 100 days are filled with moments of growth, resilience and discovery. We are incredibly proud of the way our Prep students have embraced new challenges, developed positive learning habits and become valued members of their classroom communities.
We also extend our thanks to our Prep teachers, Education Support staff and families, whose encouragement and support have helped make these first 100 days such a positive and successful experience for every student.
We can’t wait to see our classrooms filled with colourful outfits, bright smiles and excited faces as we celebrate 100 Days Brighter. Congratulations to all of our Prep students on reaching this fantastic milestone—we look forward to celebrating many more learning achievements with you throughout the year!
