What is the NBC Community Hub?
The Community Hub is a friendly and welcoming space where families from diverse backgrounds—especially mothers with pre-school-aged children—can come together to connect, share experiences, and learn in a supportive environment.
What’s happening?
We’re pleased to offer a variety of programs during the year. Below are just a few of them. Flyers will come out each term to inform the activities that will be running during the term.
- Services Australia drop-in support and information session on income estimates and Family Tax Benefits
- City of Greater Geelong Regional Parenting Program – a three-week program for Farsi/Dari-speaking families, focusing on screen time, healthy boundaries, and parenting support
- Toy Library open hours. Monday and Friday 11:00am – 12:00pm
- Women’s yoga sessions
- Women’s one-week intensive swimming program
